We are really excited to promote the Michigan Trail Riders Association, Shore to Shore Trail, and all camps throughout the trail, using a visually engaging way to showcase our rides and the Shore to Shore camps. This is a fundraiser to support trail maintenance and association incentives. 

Also available on this map: a list of hospitals, veterinarians, farriers, restaurants/bars, feed/tack stores, public showers/laundry, camps, circle riding tracks at each camp, and submitted photos from your fellow MTRA enthusiasts. Along with viewing the map, riders will also be able to report trail conditions/maintenance needed by board members and easy access to the Michigan Horse Trails Association Incident report which helps the State of Michigan deal with non-equestrian presence in horse designated camps (bikes, e-bikes, ATV/ORV, loose dogs, non-equestrian campers, etc.)

How it Works:

• MTRA members can register on the MTRA webstore. Once registered, you will receive apparel of your choice and the keychain. Once you receive your package, it's time to ride!

• Riders scan the keychain QR code during their ride (or when they get back to camp)

• They submit the location of each photo and submit 1-5 photos through a Google Form.

• Submissions are live and layered on the interactive map.

• The map will remain active annually, upon the new year there would be a new map generated. Previous years would still be viewable, but no additional photo pins submitted to previous years.

Benefits to MTRA:

• Encourages participation from riders who may not complete a trophy ride.

• Builds excitement and visibility for the Shore to Shore Trail.

• Creates shareable content for social media and marketing.

• Provides a sustainable and repeatable annual fundraiser.
